Vethaak is trained in biology and toxicology, which gives him insight into the complex world of plastic pollution and how it impacts environmental health. Currently a research professor at Vrije Universiteit, in Amsterdam, Vethaak has focused his efforts on exploring microplastic contamination – both in water and in human beings…
