Even with the amazing medical advancements in recent history, it is difficult to get an accurate picture of what is going on in the brain. Especially at the end of life, much of what is undergone in the brain remains a mystery.
Since many folks do not want extensive tests at the end of their life, studying their brains becomes quite challenging. However, with tools like EEGs and other techniques, we can study various situations in which someone passes away, allowing us to better understand when life actually ends.
